During the period Disney was planning on ditching Power Rangers, an animator from a Vancouver studio named Brandon Ragnar proposed making the franchise an animated series. Disney ordered a very rushed pitch, and it was later rejected due to lack of interest from the bigwigs at the Mouse House.
From the designs, they wanted a 3D CGI cartoon and the 3 animators seemingly took visual inspiration directly from Gorenger. There also was seemingly a focus on not killing the monster of the week, instead shrinking them after beating them up at macro scale, most likely to draw away ire from parents who backed advocacy groups that wanted violence off of kids television.
There are some interesting ideas despite seemingly being “toothless”, all the Rangers could express emotions through their mask visors akin to Spider-Man and his mask’s “eyes”. Megazord could have been good if its 3D details were allowed to be ironed out, its sleek and simple design is unique and could have benefitted from a few Nonaka-style touch ups. Much like Mystic Force, the Rangers are the Megazord itself, which is interesting. Red uses twin blasters, Pink a bo staff, Blue uses twin katanas, Yellow uses boomerangs like Midorenger did back in the day and Green is the brute muscle who uses his fists and body as a weapon.
The Mouse tried desperately to bury this project, but we have a few voices formerly from inside its walls who confirm at the very least an animated project was proposed including music artist Ron Wasserman.
We don’t know for sure if this is the one, but Mr. Ragnar’s recently deleted Deviantart page had an image of the Rangers similar to this video’s design that has copies which circulate ‘round the web. The exception was the suits were white with colored accents instead of black.
The three Unforgivable Curses from Harry Potter each oppose one of the inalienable rights from the Declaration of Independence; Avada Kedavra denies life, Imperio denies liberty, and Crucio denies the pursuit of happiness.
they’re supportive, but worry sometimes as parents do! since she lives far from them, she doesn’t exactly give them too many details because she doesnt want to give them even more reason to worry. so they dont know about her space adventures :’D
So Sougo discarding and destroying his original belt caused a temporal fracture where the future moves in two possible directions.
One creates an alternate time branch where Ohma Zi-O’s non-existence in one timeline led to a peaceful world where Riders continued to defend the world into 2068 and Woz’s life was drastically different. The Ohma Zi-O that previously existed in this time was the one who kept his original belt throughout his life.
The second is the one created after Sougo accepted his fate and donned Geiz’s Ziku Driver to become Zi-O again. This re-creates the original path of the timeline with Sougo becoming the evil dictator Ohma Zi-O.
If I could offer a young person advice about anything it would be do NOT make life decisions based on your boyfriend or girlfriend. Girls especially. Do NOT stay close to home for him, do not skip opportunities to travel or study abroad, do not pick a safe college to be with him. Expand your horizons. Broaden your own life. He is not the world.
I want everyone who disagrees with this post to come back to me in a couple years and tell me how that shit worked out.
I reblogged this earlier and need to reblog again, because while OP makes an /excellent/ point I agree with - especially regarding travel because that is pretty temporary, or school because that is really major -
At the same time, at some point in your life, you will have to make sacrifices for a partner/potential one. At some point one of you will have to sacrifice something for the other. A home to move in together. Maybe a job. Sometimes, friends. Usually a lot of habits. Even giving up family members or being close to them. At that point it’s important to take a hard look at the relationship. Is one person sacrificing everything of their life while the other gives up nothing? Is one of you completely modifying how you live while the other carries on as usual? And yeah. Sometimes, that’s required. One may be an awesome promotion or opportunity or something. But if one person is constantly making sacrifices and the other isn’t, it’s time to take a look at the relationship and decide if it’s healthy.
